Privacy Policy

This policy explains what FORLIF does with your data when you join the founders list at forlif.com. It is not about the FORLIF app — it does not exist yet. It is about this site and this list.
Note on who is responsible for this document: FORLIF is a product of a partnership between Bragatech and Dr. Frederico Menezes, still being formed. While the partnership does not have its own company registration number (CNPJ), the party responsible for data processing and for this document is BRAGATECH CONSULTORIA LTDA, CNPJ 52.335.289/0001-01 (Brazil).
1. What FORLIF is, so you understand what you are authorizing
FORLIF records, organizes, displays and forwards information. It never gives an opinion on dosage, never interprets symptoms and never indicates a course of action. This also applies to the founders list: what you tell us here does not generate any individual response from us — only confirmation that you are on the list and, when spots open, a notice.
2. What data we collect and why

Profile is health data (LGPD art. 5, II; GDPR art. 9). That is why it is optional, has its own consent separate from the list's general consent, and is encrypted in our database — not even someone working at FORLIF can read it without going through the security layer that protects it.
3. Why we can use this data (legal basis)
- Email, name, country and language: with your consent, given by checking the first box on the form (LGPD art. 7, I; GDPR art. 6(1)(a)).
- Profile: with your specific and prominent consent, given by checking the second box on the form, required only when you choose a profile (LGPD art. 11, I; GDPR art. 9(2)(a)).
Without the first consent, your signup is not recorded. Without the second, the profile is not recorded — but the rest of the signup proceeds normally.
Along with your signup, we keep a record of each consent given: which one it was, the version of the text you read, the language, and the date.
4. If you sign up twice with the same email
You see the same success message both times. This is intentional: we do not confirm nor deny, on screen, whether an email was already on the list, so as not to expose that information to someone who is not the email's owner. No new signup is created and no welcome email is resent.
5. Where your data is stored
On servers in São Paulo, Brazil, for all countries, with the standard contractual clauses required for international data transfers when you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom.
6. How long we keep it
For as long as your signup is active — that is, until you leave the list. There is no automatic deletion period. This is because the purpose of the list (notifying you when founder spots open) only ends when the spots open, and we do not yet know when that will happen. You can end your signup at any time, day or night, without needing to justify it (see section 8).
7. Who we share it with
With service providers who help us operate the list — today, an email delivery provider and cloud infrastructure — always under contract and never for their own purposes. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data with third parties for advertising. Aside from the daily summary the FORLIF team receives (always with aggregated numbers, never with your individual profile isolated), no one else sees your signup.
8. Your rights
You can, at any time:
- Leave the list: click the "leave the list" link in any of our emails, or visit the unsubscribe page on the site. This deletes your signup and every consent linked to it — it is not a deactivation, it is a real removal.
- Request confirmation and access to the data we have about you.
- Request correction of incorrect data (for example, a misspelled country).
- Withdraw your profile consent at any time, even without leaving the whole list — write to the email below.
- Request portability of your data in a readable format.
- Ask who we share your data with and why.

9. Cookies and analytics
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we show a cookie banner before activating any site usage analytics tool, and no event is sent before you accept. Outside the European Union and the United Kingdom, usage analytics is active by default. Either way, you can block third-party cookies at any time in your browser settings.
The events we record (for example, "form submitted" or "language changed") never include the health profile you chose, nor any other sensitive data.
10. Minors
The founders list is for people 18 years old or older. This is part of the declaration you confirm when checking the first consent on the form.
11. Security
The profile (health data) is encrypted at rest. The rest of your data is also protected in our database, with access restricted to the team that operates the list. We never put your profile in error logs, analytics tools, or any monitoring system.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a significant way, we will notify you by email before the change applies to you. The date at the top of this page always shows the most recent version.
